Hobbs Heirloom® 80/20 Black Cotton Batting – King (DKHL-120)

Hobbs Heirloom® Premium 80/20 Black Cotton Blend Batting is specially designed for quilts made with black or dark-coloured fabrics. Made using colour-fast dyed cotton fibres, this batting keeps fabric colours rich and true while eliminating the frustration of light lint fibres appearing on dark quilt tops during quilting.

Manufactured in the same way as Hobbs’ popular natural 80/20 blend, this batting is needle-punched and lightly resin bonded for exceptional strength and durability. It quilts beautifully by hand or machine, offering a flat, low-loft finish with close stitching, or slightly higher loft with wider stitch spacing.

Machine washable once quilted, this batting will not bleed, with expected shrinkage of 3–5%. Proudly made in the USA, Hobbs Heirloom® batting delivers professional results and heirloom-quality performance for dark fabric quilts.
