Hobbs Heirloom® Fusible Cotton Blend Batting – Crib (HF-45)

Hobbs Heirloom® Premium 80/20 Fusible Cotton Blend Batting is a double-sided, iron-on batting designed to dramatically speed up the quilting process. This innovative batting eliminates the need for pin or spray basting, allowing you to create your quilt “sandwich” quickly and easily with a hot, dry iron.

Made from 80% natural cotton and 20% fine polyester, this batting is needle-punched and lightly resin bonded for strength and durability. A water-soluble fusing medium is applied to both sides, enabling the quilt top and backing to adhere simultaneously. Once washed, the fusible softens and behaves just like traditional batting.

How to Use

• Use a dry iron only (no steam)
• Set iron to fabric-appropriate heat
• Press, don’t iron, holding iron in place for 5–7 seconds
• Work from the centre outward
• Allow to cool before checking adhesion
• Adjust 1–2 times if needed before fusing medium deactivates
