Hobbs Heirloom® Fusible Cotton Blend Batting – Queen (HF-90)

Hobbs Heirloom® Premium 80/20 Fusible Cotton Blend Batting is a double-sided, iron-on batting designed to eliminate pin and spray basting, saving time while delivering smooth, professional results. Ideal for larger quilts, this Queen-size batting allows you to adhere both the quilt top and backing to the batting in a single pressing.

Made from 80% natural cotton and 20% fine polyester, this batting is needle-punched and lightly resin bonded for strength and durability. A water-soluble fusible medium is applied to both sides, allowing the quilt sandwich to be secured quickly. After washing, the fusible softens, behaving like traditional batting while maintaining beautiful drape and stitch definition.

Recommended for medium to dark fabrics, this batting is machine washable once quilted and proudly made in the USA for heirloom-quality results.

How to Use

• Use a dry iron only (no steam)
• Set iron to the appropriate temperature for your fabric
• Press, don’t iron, holding iron in place for 5–7 seconds
• Work from the centre outward
• Allow to cool before checking adhesion
• Adjust 1–2 times if needed before the fusible deactivates
